Welcome to Pilates Adventurers

helping children grow strong, confident and happy through movement and imagination

what happens in a Pilates Adventurers class?

Each week, children step into a brand-new imaginative journey, turning movement into an exciting story they can’t wait to be part of.

One week we might be:
🚀 Travelling to space
🌴 Exploring the jungle
🧸 Visiting a magical toy shop
✨ Going on a heroic adventure

Through storytelling, games and creative movement, children stretch, strengthen, balance and explore their bodies in a way that feels playful and engaging.

Classes are carefully structured, age-appropriate and led in a calm, encouraging way so every child feels safe, supported and included.

benefits of Pilates for children

From ages 5–12, children are developing rapidly, not just physically, but emotionally and socially too. Pilates offers a fun, supportive way to help them grow strong, confident and connected, all through playful movement.

1. Builds strong, confident bodies

2. Encourages healthy posture and movement habits

3. Boosts confidence and self-belief

4. Supports focus, calm and emotional wellbeing

5. Builds social skills and a sense of belonging

Pilates at this age isn’t about perfection. It’s about movement, confidence, connection and fun, helping children build skills they’ll carry with them for life.

  • "My daughter attends Lizzie's Pilates Adventurers after-school club and it is no embellishment to say she is having the BEST time. Themed weekly sessions which help to regulate, build strength and have fun, pitched perfectly to keep the children engaged, gives us as parents the peace of mind to know she is having fun whilst staying active!"

  • "My 7 year old son absolutely loved Lizzie's Pilates Adventurers class. He said how fun it was and immediately asked when he could go again. It's a fantastic habit to build into his sporty lifestyle, to help keep him strong and flexible. We would highly recommend!!!"
